The Pub has an excellent location. Its bar and dining room entrances open to Lincoln Square, or “the Circle,” and passersby can look in the windows to see eaters enjoying their meals. The building itself is quite pretty. During the holiday season, the Pub is beautifully covered in strings of yellow lights. On weekends, the Pub is only a few blocks away from Gettysburg College, making it a popular bar stop.
Watch What you Drink – If the host orders an alcoholic drink, you may order one also – but stick to one drink. Do not order an alcoholic drink unless the host does.
It surprises me each time I go to Little Italy just how many Italian restaurants are there. We considered Sabatini’s however we both weren’t impressed the last time we visited there. Amici’s was packed with a line waiting outside. It concerned my date and I that it was billing itself as “very” dinner around me. With the word casual in quotations we weren’t sure what that meant so we passed it up. We checked out the menu at Rocco’s and German’s before throwing caution to the wind and just going over to Ciao Bella. There was no wait and were able to get a table on a Saturday night. It’s a cute little restaurant. I could see how this place could be considered romantic with its small atmosphere and linen napkins and tablecloths.
